Hill+Knowlton Strategies designates Sabine Post-de Jong as Practice Leader Financial + M&A
Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Sabine Post-de Jong as Practice Leader Financial + M&A. She takes over the role from Frans van der Grint. He will continue in his role as European Practice Director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies.
Sabine Post-de Jong has a proven track-record in private equity, investor relations and corporate strategy. She has been involved in many crucial M&A transactions over the last few years.
“Practice leader at Hill+Knowlton Strategies is a coveted role. Given our very strong market position combined with the new opportunities in the offing, I happily accepted the request to take over this responsibility”, says Sabine. She joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies in May 2011. Before that she worked at TNT and Gilde Buy Out Partners.
“In Sabine our Financial+M&A practice gains a multifaceted, experienced professional as a leader, to support our clients’ Executive Committees and Boards at the most crucial times”, says Ingo Heijnen, CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies in The Netherlands. “She will no doubt bring her own touch to the leadership of the practice, which already belongs to the absolute top in the country, and to which Sabine has already made a substantial contribution in recent years”.
Frans van der Grint led the Financial + M&A practice in the Amsterdam office for seven years. In 2012 he took on the task of shaping the European practice, a role which he will continue to occupy. “Sabine is an exceptional professional, with a recognized place in the market. There are many benefits for Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Sabine taking over the lead”, comments Frans van der Grint. “People who know me know that for me, seven or eight years is the limit in a leadership role and that I’m happy to hand things over at that stage”.
